The Game Arts Guild has been developing the Squawk Role-Playing Game and The Dark Woods since the mid-90's. We have also been involved in videogame development, sometimes under the label Galbraith Games. Our pen and paper RPGs focus on simple game mechanics, making the GM's job as easy as possible - if the GM is required at all. Our books tend to be heavily illustrated, with lots of black and white sketches and non-human character options.

Our games contain a strong elelment of dark comedy, and some have noticed cynical or subversive ideological implications.
