Quantum Flux

It was just a routine salvage mission - jump to the wreck site, board it, recover what can be saved, destory the rest. So how did the salvage crew find themselves adrift in deep space, with the their only hope of survival being the wreck they came to destory? And what is that strange growth on the side of the ship?

Quantum Flux is a science fiction scenario for three to six players using the 6d6 RPG. A sandbox adventure with 11 decks to explore, the players are faced with life & death decisions. Should they head to the bridge and find out what happened? To engineering to power-up the ship and prevent it burning up in the planet's amosphere? Or to the AI core in an attempt to decrypt that strange signal that wrecked their spacecraft? As the players explore and the plot unfolds, they are left with a final choice of who and what deserves to be saved.

What's In The PDF?

The 129 page (A5) PDF contains everything you would expect from an adventure - maps, details of key locations, background and monster stats - plus advice for the first time 6d6 Game Leader. The scenario starts slowly and simply, allowing everyone at the table to get accustomed to the the 6d6 RPG, and includes pointers on how the game mechanics work in each scene. The full text of Quantum Flux is online so you can read before you buy.

As well as the scenario, there are 240 cards in PDF form for the characters and various clues and pieces of equipment available on the ship. For ease and speed of printing the cards are formated 10 per A4 page and laid out to fit the Avery C32011 'print-your-own' business card range.

What Else Do I Need

All you need is knowledge of the 6d6 Core whcih can be read online and purchased on RPG Now. You will also need some six sided dice.

The Living Document, What Is That All About?

6d6 believe you should only have to buy a game once and not need to spend more money just because the publisher decides to release a new edition. After buying and registering any 6d6 product, we promise that no matter how many versions, editions and updates of the Quantum Flux we do in the future, you will always be able to download the latest version.

Anything Else I Should Know?

6d6 is an open company. All our plans are discussed in public and our financial situation can be read about on our blog. We are building a company for long-term success which means we have to support and reward our writers. Instead of paying them royalties, we pay them one third of the sales price (excluding the reseller's cut). So whatever you pay for this PDF, after RPG Now take their 35% cut, two thirds cover the company's overhead and one third of that goes to the writer.
