Tarot cards are popular for getting plot inspiration, or doing in-game divination. Why not runes? The RuneSpinner does traditional three rune spreads of the Elder Futhark runes, with simple interpretations for those who don't have their own preferred guide to the meanings.
Spin three runes slot machine style, and get a reading to help out with your adventure or encounter plot. Toggle inversions and repeats on and off, depending on if you prefer those things.
The program is written in .NET, so it should work on all recent versions of Windows and quite a few *nix boxes and Macs as well. (Assuming you have an emulator; Mono on Mac and Wine on Linux are suggested.)
