| Jacob's hands shook as he set the safe deposit box on the closet-like viewing room's built-in table. The answers for which he'd fought so hard were finally in front of him. The key he found yesterday unlocked the lid, but his brief glimpse at the box's contents was interrupted by the unmistakable pop of a gunshot, followed by screams. Jacob cursed.
