A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible adventure for 4-6 PCs of levels 5-7.

Waves of supernatural darkness sweep over the subterranean city of Stoneholme, quenching lights and bringing with it foul creatures of shadow. After heroically defending a group of dwarven children from being ravaged by a group of these shadow beings, the PCs are approached by Shtawn Deppenkhut—one of the king’s own advisers—and are offered the task of finding the source of the darkness that threatens the city.

The PCs investigation takes them through the Underworld to hidden caverns, where demon worshipping priests offer living sacrifices in an attempt to plunge Stoneholme into everlasting darkness, a first step in destroying the hated city once and for all, but as it turns out the priests aren’t the only ones behind this unfolding plan to destroy Stoneholme.

is a Pathfinder/3.5 compatible adventure suitable for four to six PCs of 1st-2nd level that features low-level exploration in Aventyr’s Underworld and intrigue both in and around the dwarven city of Stoneholme.

This fine dwarven-themed adventure includes:

  • Dwarves, diabolists, and demons!
  • The Underworld city of Stoneholme!
  • Two new magical items, the aubade pendant (to light a wayward adventurer’s path) and the dark-heart ruby (a devious stone of dark portent).
  • The Dark-Blessed template, offering up a new means to embolden your monsters and NPCS!
  • Two separate dungeons—the Quartzfell Glassworks and Felltooth Temple!

The Feltooth Temple map is annoying. The FG grid doesn't align with map grid. Map grid is also not square. The average pixels per inch are not an integer. So it's not possible to adjust the FG grid to match the image. If the map was scaled by 200% x 186%, the pixels per inch would be about 53 in each direction. Then the FG grid would match pretty close to the map grid.

Hello Chris,

That's super weird. It sounds like the conversion expert screwed up and used the wrong map because we produce all our VTT Maps without a grid.
I'll upload the VTT versions of these maps with this .mod and push out an update to you so you can get a more usable map.
I don't have anyone to go back and revise the actual .mod file at this time, but when I can I'll do so and push an update.

Thank you,
Jonathan G. Nelson

It turns out the version I was using was the FG store version, downloaded by the FG updater. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the DTRPG module and it has the same issue with the map in the module. However, the map file in the VTT Maps folder, in the DTRPG download, is the non-grid map. So with the DTRPG version, the user has the option to use the alternate map.

Also, I posted this under the wrong version. I'm referring to the 5E version.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
