The Secrets of the Iron Titan (PFRPG)

Become More Machine

This new 1st -20th level base class is designed for use by player characters at every level of play; allowing the character to emulate an iron golem, a transforming construct, or a watchman brought back from the dead as a cyborg.

The iron titan gains a pool of points it can use to select specific construction builds similar to how a summoner's eidolon works. The iron titan becomes more and more mechanical as it advances untill ultimatly it becomes nigh-indestructible. This class can also be easily introduced into any new campaign assisted by a simple plug and play style first person introduction.

The Secrets of the Iron Titan is brought to you by the same designer who brought you 1001 Spells, In The Company of Monsters, and The Book of Monster Templates.

Heroes of the Jade Oath ;1001 Spells ;Martial Arts Guidebook ;In The Company of Dragons ;Curse of the Golden Spear ;Faces of the Tarnished Souk ;Book of Monster Templates

I have a question about the Max attacks... As written it says you can have X attacks POSSIBLE based on level, yet doesn't mention anything on if you can use them all in a full attack. For instance, most player races with natural attacks have to decide to either use their natural attacks, or weapon attacks when doing a full attack. Could I get some clarification on this?

This refers to the maximum number of full attack it can make with manufactured weapons and natural attacks.

So it can use all attacks up to it's maximum then? In any combination so long as it doesn't have more than the max?

During a full-attack action yes. Every attack you make with a sword against this attack as does a slam attack.

You can be every robot you could ever have desired.
Thumbs up.
But I regret not buying the bundle, it would've been much cheaper and also I could get my hands on masquerade reveler.

I have a most cruel idea for using this. In games we throw in lost cities and buried civilisations and underdark dungeons. As long as it thematically works, it would be nice to throw in a hostile iron titan, or several, keh keh keh.

Yes there is no reason that you could not put in a evil race as the host body. I did this as part of my playtests :)

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
