Got 99 problems? Make sure that a totally legit feat or talent for tonight's game isn't one!
Special Talents of Dubious Usefulness is a finely crafted list of mostly historically accurate and verisimilitudinous feats, talents, traits, or what have you collected by our semi-professional mouse tetherers. These are at least half as good as any official feats found in popular fantasy role playing games. This is a d66 list! Roll 2d6 like you would for 2d10 to make a d100, or just pick one, you cheater.
For Example:
21. Group Planning. Once per session with this talent, you may call the other PCs together into a group to brainstorm a solution to a problem at hand. During this brainstorming, the players may share information freely as if they were their characters.
41. Powerful Entrance. You may attempt to force a locked door or container, as a standard skill check. Upon success, you are granted access as if you cast Knock.
55. Speak Your Wisdom. Once per session, you may remove your glasses and speak about the topic at hand, rolling a social check. On success, you will sound wise and learned about the subject. This talent does not grant you any knowledge on the topic.
This product is system and genre agnostic, so feel free to use it to empower your fantasy PCs, to name your tanks in any number of popular war games set in the far future, to add some realism to your virtual reality simulator adventures, or just to spark your own imagination!
