Tiny Horsies is a pen-and-paper RPG for parents and children that allows you to create horsie characters and live exciting adventures. You can be a Unicorn, a Pegasus, a Terra, or a Pegacorn. Wield magic, soar through the air, kick butt, charm others, talk to animals, or use a wide range of other talents in order to solve problems. Character creation is simple and even small children can create a character in a few minutes.

The system is easy to pick up and play. No need to memorize tons of rules and a little coaching is all that’s needed for small children to play and enjoy the game. The game encourages personal interaction, imagination, and story-telling.

The book includes an introduction to RPGs, a guide for the Game Director, character creation rules, explanation of mechanics, a magic section, a guide for the Game Master, and an adventure to get you started.

Why is this game published through a press that seems to specialize in antisemitic conspiracy theories?

I love this game so much! I played it twice with my 7, 9, and 11 year old.Even if you are not a Brony fan, but are a fan of light, simple, highly modifiable games, this one is definitely one worth checking out.

You can help out RPG writers by leaving a formal review and rating, if you've the time.

I bought the game through Amazon before I even knew it was here. Knowing that now, I would have gone through here.
The Reviews section will not let me post a review because of this. :(

I will post my conclusions from my extensive 4-part review here, since I can't put it in the review section above. My blog review was much more in depth, though it was based on the 1st edition (Many of the things I didn't like were actually fixed inthe 2nd Edition)

Impression: Overall, the game book is simple and well organized. For 10.95 (5.95 for downloadable PDF at DriveThru RPG), you get a well-organized book that holds an introduction to roleplaying games, a player’s guide, a game master’s guide, a free adventure, and enough flavor material to get you and your group up and playing as well as familiar with the genre very quickly. For parents and kids alike new to roleplaying games, you get a small, easy-to-read, and very not-intimidating book that contains all you need to quickly jump into the hobby of roleplaying, including a large number of tips for new players including a section for how to play online. It even includes rules for etiquette, something seriously lacking in the world in general!...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
