A Fistful of Fight Scenes GM Screen (Feng Shui 2E) [digital]

Conceal the secrets of the Chi Wars from the prying eyes of your players behind a wall of mystery and knowledge!

This three-panel reference extravaganza is provided not only as a three-page PDF suitable for letter-sized printing, but also in the form of an extra-large single file that you can spread across your 4K cinema display in a gigantic display of your Game Master-y magnificence. Both versions contain the same critical reference material from the Feng Shui 2 core book, to keep your game running smoothly.

Included with the GM Screen is A Fistful of Fight Scenes.

This 32-page booklet presents 15 locations in which to set dazzling battles between your players and the nefarious factions of the Chi War. Thrill to such cinematic classics as Nightclub, Ancient Temple, Moving Train, Bamboo Forest, Tea House, Factory Floor, and Shopping Mall! Each location is packed with ideas for things to explode violently while the heroes show off their action movie moves.

Are there any plans to produce an second printing version of this to reflect the changes made in the second printing of the core rules (e.g. the change for actions that take place in shots 2 and 1)?

We're hoping to do a physical reprint with updated content (both the most recent errata from the second printing and earlier errata). We're looking at several options for doing that, but it's challenging because GM screens both cost more to produce and sell fewer copies than the rulebook. Including this as part of a future Feng Shui Kickstarter seems like the most probable path.

The PDF would be updated at the same time. If we end up hitting a dead-end on the viability of the physical reprint, I would flip to figuring a digital-only update of the PDFs.

Thanks Justin - I appreciate the challenge. And curious about the idea of a future FS (Flying Windmill) Kickstarter, too.

Nice reference but it needs panels for the player facing side of the screen to feel complete.

I agree. I'm planning on making a copy of the GM screen myself and was disappointed to see that the backs of the screen weren't included.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
