Vulture Gulch Express Steam Train construction set (COLOR)

Vulture Gulch Express Steam Train construction set (COLOR)

ZIP File
Welcome to Vulture Gulch, the Old West town where life is cheap, and so are the buildings! You demanded an Old West town in the tradition of Vyllage-on-the-Cheep, and Gary M. Williams has created this new building kit line to oblige you!
NOW IN FULL COLOR! One of the most amazing paper kits we`ve ever produced, the Vulture Gulch Express by Mark Dykstra is a steam train of the era from 1850-1900, complete with small locomotive, tender, boxcar, flat car, passenger cars and caboose. These are scaled to go with our MicroTactix cardstock figures and Vulture Gulch building sets, but they would be at home in a modern theme park, too.
Along with the train itself, you get both graded and ungraded straight track sections, curved track sections, a water tower, flat car loads, and the Vulture Gulch train station. The set also comes with several sets of signs for the cars, engine and station -- plus editable, colorizable tif files for the signs so you can easily customize them!
NOTE: This set is also available in a black-and-white version (MTX-VG2001) as well!

Vulture Gulch Train Crew Figures

A train crew for the Vulture Gulch Express! This free set of figures by Matt Drake is designed to go along with the Vulture Gulch Express steam train by Mark Dykstra. The set includes both a PDF and a colorizable TIF file with figures for the engineer, fireman, conductor, two baggage handlers, and a drifter who`s been riding the rails.

I had been looking for a 28mm American Locomotive and was beginning to despair when I was pointed in the direction of this little beauty. At $12 it appears a little expensive for a PDF model, but what you get justifies the price. The completed model compr [...]

This is just a rehash of the black and white version, and done poorly at that. The model isn't modified for color, so when built, there is white cardstock showing. I had to modify it extensively to actually make it a true "color" model. The [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
