What is a Community Supporter
Account?
As you are no doubt aware, the messageboards
at EN World are free to use. However, they are very resource intensive
and thus expensive to run. Especially intensive are various features such as
the search function.
A Community Supporter member account allows you to support the site by contributing
towards the server costs. The account costs only $35 per year. As a Community
Supporter, you get the following benefits:
- A custom user title
- Access to the "Search" function
- Access to the "Who's Online?" function.
- Private Messaging
- A personal gallery in the Art & Photo Gallery
- Access to EN World's built-in RPG
- Other freebies added occasionally
By purchasing a Community Supporter member account, you get all of the above
for a period of one year.
Terms
By purchasing a Community Supporter member account, you agree that you fully
understand the following:
- You understand that this is a voluntary donation that grants you additional
features, and that you are not required to pay anything to use the messageboards.
- You understand that you are still bound by the rules of this messageboard,
and that breaking those rules will result in closed, deleted or edited messages
or an outright ban (either temporary or permanent) as usual. The "But I
paid!" defense will hold absolutely no water.
- The payment is a voluntary donation, and as such is non-refundable. It is
NOT a payment for a service and does NOT imply any contract - the extra features
are just my way of saying "thank you", and may change at any time.
- This does not make you anything "Special" or any more important than users
who have not purchased an account. Absolutely no elitism will be tolerated
and you do not have any more "Say" than anyone who has not bought a Community
Supporter Account.
- If you have any problems, please contact Morrus,
not RPGNow staff. RPGNow is kindly helping EN World by processing the payments
needed for the Community Supporter Accounts, but has nothing to do with their
administration.
What you need to do
To purchase and acivate your Communty Supporter Account, you need to take the
following steps:
1) Ensure that you have a regular (free) member account registered at EN
World.
2) Purchase your Community Supporter Account here at RPGNow.com.
3) Email russ@en-world.freeserve.co.uk
with your EN World username and the email address
connected to your account here at RPGNow. This will enable me to match up
your transaction with your EN World account.
