The Sewers Under Ormash

Originally built to handle the rainwater and filth of the city, the ancient sewers have become a dark and dangerous refuge for unspeakable foulness. Deep channels of putrescent sludge flow through a twisting maze of coal-black tunnels, emptying into great pools before flowing into unexplored caverns or out to sea. This muddy muck is always moving, and conceals the most horrible of creatures under its opaque surface. The walls are fashioned with downspouts that periodically belch repulsive fluids into the mawkish ooze, making the precarious walkways and makeshift bridges even more slippery and dangerous.

The DOLLAR DUNGEON$-ORMASH SEWERS set comes 14 high-quality floor tile patterns for color or b&w printers that are compatible with the other DOLLAR DUNGEON$ sets. This is everything you need to recreate a sewer from your favorite commercial or homemade adventures, perfect for 25mm-30mm scale miniatures.

Included in this set:

Filthy Tile Floor

Straight, Elbow, Crossed, & Tee Channel Junctions

Sludge Pools of Various Sizes

Drained Pool

Cut-Out/Stand-Up Downspouts, Rusty Ladders and Plank Bridges

SAMPLE DUNGEON 1:This sewer has lots of big rooms full of complicated channels. Line of sight is no prob, but lots of obstacles stop charging. Great for combat!

SAMPLE DUNGEON 2:This utility sewer is made with long, simple channels. Small rooms good for ambushes or secret chambers are built here and there. Great for exploring!

*SERIOUS UPDATE-READ THIS BEFORE BUYING ANOTHER BATTLE-MAT!!*

A friend asked me how much cheaper it was to use the DOLLAR DUNGEON$ Floors than a typical vinyl "battle-mat". I knew it was less expensive, but not by how much, so I decided to do a little math to figure it out.

I went online to find the biggest mat I could, and located a fine 34?" x 48" (11? square feet) specimen priced at $29.99 plus shipping. I printed out one copy of the regular 1" tiles gray-scale floor and took it to my local print shop with a $2.00 package of cardstock. They printed 20 copies for $2.00; 34" x 55" (12? square feet). So that's $4.00 for the dungeon and then add the sale price for the set. Compare that to 30 clams for the battle-mat. Math is your friend!

Even if you wanted to spend thirty bucks at the print shop, you could get a dungeon of a whopping 11' x 17?' (192? square feet!!) that looks like dungeon stone tiles (instead of perfect "oyster brown" squares) and you could keep the whole thing in a trapper-keeper! That's just too neat to pass up if you ask me!

Don't waste your precious time gluing together some castle or tavern you'll only use once! Worse, you might over-use it to justify the $15+ price-tag and make your players groan when you pull it out yet again. We all know how miniatures solve arguments and area-effects in combat. You will appreciate having a fantastic looking portable and versatile battle mat without paying battle mat prices. Most gamers will appreciate having a dungeon they can use without knocking over walls or play on without waiting a thousand years while you set it up. Get your DOLLAR DUNGEON$ today and play on them tonight!

This set contains 11 pages of nice sewer maps and 3 pages of sewer-"equipment" all in one pdf-file. The graphics are rather simple compared to "Sewer Tunnels" by Edward Bournell, but they have one big advantage. They are absolutly [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
