MAD LAB 2: The Graviton Gun

ZIP File

Those supervillains never give up! Now your heroes will have to contend with the deadliest weapon of all time -- the Graviton Gun! Where do the bad guys get these deadly devices? MicroTactix, of course! But don't worry -- your heroes can handle it. It's all just cardstock, after all. (Maybe...) Just when the heroes thought it was safe here's Gary M. Williams, the reigning master of cardstock coolness, with MAD LAB 2: The Graviton Gun. This new cardstock scenics set follows up on the original Mad Lab with a set of combat-ready catwalks, square-grid base plates, a master control platform, and a futuristic weapon of mass destruction that any villain would be proud to call his own.

This full color cardstock kit in PDF format contains components you can print, assemble and use with any superhero, SF or pulp-style game where your villains need a superweapon with which to rule the world. The whole thing is designed around a Heroic Scale 1.5 inch square grid, perfect for your large-base or dial-base minis!

The set is great for use with the original Mad Lab or any of our Dirt Cheep Cityscapes sets, as well as the Hero HQ cardstock miniatures set -- or your own favorite superhero miniature figures! Get Mad Lab 2: The Graviton Gun At only $5, you won't even have to stop to rob a bank on the way to ruling the world!

Great for use with Crimson Skies CMG: Aces and Heroclix! MicroTactix comes through again with a product that is useful, but not expensive. [...]

This thing has been a great addition to our HeroClix games. Instead of doing the same old "beat up the other team" games we use this for "stop the evil scientist" games or "prevent the bad guys from getting the ray gun" [...]

Another great offering, this terrain piece is beautiful and is a wonderful additon to superhero/pulp/modern games. While being a good bit of work to put together (as Mad Lab 1 was also) it is completely worth it when you have the finished produc [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
