69 Science Fiction Weapons Clipart Pack

ADD TO WISHLIST >

Guns, guns, guns. Who could ever have enough guns? Or enough pictures of them? To better slake your thirst for images of deadly implements, I have provided you here with 69 royalty-free pictures of various science fiction weapons.

You can publish them in your own work, illustrate a home-brewed SF campaign with them, use them to decorate your breakfast nook or get them tattooed on your quivering flesh.

The files are all zipped up in one squirming bundle of fun and violence along with a .pdf version that makes them easy to see at a glance.

For those of you who bought "1001 Science Fiction Weapons" I have included many of the best images from that collection, now Open Game Content just like the weapons themselves. But of course you don't have to give these weapons the same names and stats as they have in that book. There are all kinds of swell ways to wreak havoc with futuristic weapons, you don't need to be content with my shabby imagination.

One final note. A lot of the images in "1001 Science Fiction Weapons" were third party content, so I couldn?t really make the illustrations OGC. The ones in this collection are all my own work, which gives me the ability to freely pass them on to you. They are strictly pictures of weapons, nothing else is depicted. If you are looking for the images used in the fake ads and captioned pictures in "1001 Science Fiction Weapons", check out Ronin Arts' excellent "Sci-Fi Clipart Collection" right here at DrivethruRPG.com

This nifty little product provides players with 69 different weapons in side view. While that might not sound overly impressive, it is more important than might initially be realized. The book allows game masters and players to have a better idea of wh [...]

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this clip art pack (stupid stupid stupid!). 300dpi images are great IF you can print them bigger than 1" x 1". Most of these are very small and even at 300dpi and are too amaturish for a real prin [...]

These images are of pretty lousy quality. I won't be using any of them for anything. I'm highly disappointed in this product, which is supposedly an updated, improved version. I can't help wondering if I got the wrong product by mistake. There's defini [...]

It is hard to comment on clip-art, as its use is limited. However, the art is decent, especially if you like guns. And I do.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br> [...]

Very disappointing, despite the reduced price. The images are created in a 3D modelling program that appears to be Bryce, and are consequently very poor resolution (72 dpi, completely unsuitable for any kind of print-based application). The images them [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
