More of the meat & 'taters GM's love! This volume is a short break from the utilitarian lists of mundane goods; it's a look at the exotic Spice Market and the mysterious Magician's Market. Most of the items and services listed here are of interest to Wizards, Sorcerers, Alchemists, and Bards, but there's a little something extra for every member of the party.

Maintaining the standards set by Book A, this book contains two more markets and their stores to add to the Bazaar, providing GM's with a growing, game-ready market and a massive reference list of goods and services:

  • Kimmels Quarter: This exotic market boasts a selection of over 300 spices, herbs and oils for everything from cooking to alchemy. The place is loud, colorful, full of overwhelming and bizarre smells.
  • Apothecary Kalom (Herbal Medicines): For those who cannot afford to run to a cleric for every little sniffle and ache, or for those that fear magic, there is still a place to receive healing of a sort. The apothecary's chamber is a very aromatic and mysterious little place. There is a constant stream of ill peasants coming and going, and it is very easy to get directions to the tent. Includes new rules for minor ailments, and their cures.
  • Cosmetics Parlor: Despite condemnation by religious luminaries, association with prostitution, and ridicule by many a bard and playwright, cosmetics use has flourished. Find here a list of Medieval and Renaissance period cosmetics and personal grooming items, perfect to keep female characters beautiful, and elves smelling like a garden in spring. (Men, Dwarves, and Orcs need not apply!)
  • Nargile Salon: This is a salon for patrons who enjoy smoking. The shop has a multitude of benches and a few tables provided for customers, and the decor is very exotic. A fun list of pipes and fantasy pipe-weeds.
  • Barber-Surgeon Oldisack: There is only one place to go to get hair and beards trimmed, teeth pulled, or blood drawn; the Barber-Surgeon! Icky new rules for Humoural Medicine (aka Blood-Letting).
  • Kakukuk Tattoos: Working in an open-air kiosk, Kakukuk offers tattoos to ward off evil spirits, tribal warrior tattoos, tattoos to 'channel' spiritual energy, tattoos to show devotion to the gods, tattoos of lifelong vows, and tattoos marking events in peoples lives, especially the passage into manhood. New tribal tattoos and a list of new magic pigments.
  • Musician's Market: This market features nearly 250 instruments. The music merchants have become a no-nonsense bunch after dealing with cynical and sarcastic bards for so many years. After all this abuse, the music merchants have developed an almost inhuman resistance to haggling and lowering prices!
  • Glass Market: This is an impressive covered row of blazing furnaces that continually melt all sorts of glass, from dawn 'til dusk.
  • Ravensbourne Alley (Spells & Magic Market): Nestled in a wide dead-end alleyway between part of the Kimmels Quarter and the east wall of the Garden-and-the-Pantry, you find the tiny magician's market. Here the practitioners of the mystic arts can find necessary spell components, purchase and trade new spells, find items to improve their strongholds, or just come to "talk-shop".
  • Astrologer Phoath: The study of the stars and planets is an ancient and mystical art found to be very useful in determining ones path. Astrologer Phoath uses the heavens as a reference to make a horoscope for an individual. Also a good place to find tomorrow's weather!
  • Scribe & Artist Supplies: A store with all the papers, inks, pens, and other goodies for artists and scribes.
  • Denmor & Sons Glassworks: An incredible, unbreakable glass with a special origin. A favorite of wealthy nobles and alchemists alike.
  • Used Book Seller: Used literature and spellbooks, with simple rules to calculate the prices of used books.
  • Alchemical Supply: This is a favorite market stop for many alchemists; whether talking shop, getting the latest gadget, or learning a new formula. A list of period alchemy equipment and big new list of alchemical formulations.
  • Dissecian's Laceratory: A Dissecian is a scholar that specializes in the physical study and categorizing of monster anatomies. The task requires accurate surgical incisions to remove the valued organs and extensive knowledge of proper preservation. A huge list of monster parts and their values (for that dwarven character who just has to SLICE UP EVERYTHING for later)
  • Dragoman Zheigis (Interpreter & Decipherer): An ancient sage that can decipher any language or code, maintaining a library stocked with dictionaries for a thousand languages.

This was a very useful book; my campaign is much richer for it. LIKED: The amount of detail was staggering; I have now five different Inns in my campaign, all with fully personalized menus. DISLIKED: The cut&paste function [...]

I have all the Kaiser's Bazaar e-Books and am happy with all of them. Book B, however, is probably the weakest of the collection. It covers mostly spices and other ingredients for alchemical processes that gives it a very narrow focus that very few [...]

This is one of the best series of supplements for any fantasy game that I've had the pleasure of buying in the last 20 years. It's well written, easy to use and contains "must-have" fantasy marketplaces, making the job of the GM a lot easier. [...]

This listing of "stuff" for characters to buy is _awesome_! I love allowing my players to have tools at their disposal to breathe life into their characters, and this series is all about that! I will be awaiting the next release with baite [...]

Good stuff. Now if I could only figure out how to convince my DM to let my characters actually buy the stuff there. [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
