Has this extension been updated to support the unified version of the campaign setting with the revised material?

It does not include 5E material if that is the question?

I was under the impression that the unified version has some extra pathfinder content and reorganization as well? I was curious as I found in the comments that your HeroLab extension did have such an update on the pathfinder side (or, at least, that's what I got out of it), and I was curious if PCGen got the same sort of update. I would love to use this with PCGen, but I need to make sure everything's up-to-date before purchasing.

Much appreciated! Just bought it. Are there any plans to create PCGen extensions for Races of Everglow and the others?

I have partial sets of several of the books. Partly I've been working on this rerelease with the unified version, partly waiting on the next version of PCGen (you can see that this release requires the release candidate of the next version, but that's been going on for a while so I went ahead and released it), and partly I haven't had too much time to work on it. I promise that there are several more that are being worked on, and I hope to release another set soon. I was originally going to be working on them in order, but due to reasons it looks like some are going to be rereleased in a different format (Griffons of Everglow, which was next, will be rolled into Races of Everglow). I'll do my best to make sure that only the Campaign Setting set is required for the later sources, to maximize mixing and matching.

I'm currently working on Tribes of Everglow, and have it about 15% completed with the first three races done. I've also sent an update to this file to David.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
