The eastern end of the Mediterranean has been the hotbead of civilisation for nearly 10,000 years. Two early empires, those of the Assyrians (2400-612 BC) and the Persians (648-) dominated the area until the Romans arrived in the years preceding 0AD. Despite the collapse of these empires, soldiers from these racial types continued to fight as mercenaries in the area. This set provides miniatures for any game set in the ancient near east from 1000BC until after the Romans had gone. Essential for any ancient world or fantasy RPG or wargame, these 28mm scale full colour miniatures are supplied in two formats and can be assembled as flat, A-frame or triagonal miniatures depending on personal choice. The images are all high-quality computer generated figures and bring an extra level of realism to the gaming table.
This set is also provided as a Powerpoint version for easy creation of custom pages.
Note: To help keep the size of the download to a minimum, construction instructions are not included in this set. However, they can be downloaded for free from the product page on the company website.
