Description:

Welcome to Øone’s Blueprints!
The Blueprints product line offers you old-fashioned blue printed maps for using in your adventures and campaigns. For each map you get a blueprint version and a standard black and white version. The maps are all vector-based so you will get maximum print resolution. Despite their old fashioned appearance each map offers you a degree of customization by using the pdf technology at its best. A small control bar (which will not be printed) on each map allows you to turn on and off the grid, eliminate the room numbers, get the walls filled and don’t show doors and furniture.
Each product features a classic fantasy adventure location: a dungeon, a keep, a temple complex, a thieves’ guild and so on. You can use these map as reference to build your own adventures or simply take them at hand in case your players go in an unexpected direction during the campaign.
While offering you the best quality, these products are really cheap.

The Lost City
The Lost City is the most prized adventure ground for the player characters. The city usually hides many secrets, keep great treasures and, of course, features great dangers. The Lost City can be placed beneath the sands of a desert, in a vast underground cavern or in the depth of the ocean. The Lost City is divided in two zones: the normal city and the kings dwelling. Obviously, this city should have been ruled by a powerful god-king or by a mighty clergy since the main area is completely devoted to temples and crypts. A stone wall encircles the kings dwelling and most of the temples inside it lie beneath the surface ground. A large pyramid, keeping the crypt of a long forgotten god-king, overlooks the entire complex. The maps presented here cover most of the kings dwelling, consult the suggested key at the end of the product to find out how the maps join each other. Some hints to use the Lost City follows:

• The City lies among the sands of a desert. Nobody is able to find it without a magical artifact. Looking through the artifact the city appears, otherwise is invisible. The PCs soon will discover that the magical artifact allows them to see the city dangerous inhabitants...

• The City is found in a vast underground complex. Cultists of a long forgotten deity perform obscene rituals among the ruins of the city, trying to awaken an ancient evil buried in the pyramid crypt.

• The PCs find a magical gate that transports them in an underwater lost city, the gate closes behind the PCs. The PCs explore the underwater city and meet treasures and dangers.

• A cult of serpent-men occupies a ruined city in the desert. They seek an ancient artifact buried in the city that would allow them to spread their cult all over the humankind. The PCs must infiltrate within the cult and search in the kings dwelling in order to find the artifact before the evil cult.

As with all their products, you get a good, stripped-down map of a lost city which could fit in fantasy or sci-fi equally well. Excellent 'bang' for two bucks. LIKED: Great production values. DISLIKED: The city is intact-s [...]

0one's no-frills approach to providing basic maps for adventure, so incredibly reminiscent of Classic D&D maps, that I almost regret NOT having a cardstock cover/folder holding the adventure booklet. Ah, how we miss the old days... LIKED [...]

A large city with lots of surrounding buildings. Unfortunaly, the surrounding buildings are only shown on the map of where they are and not what's in them. LIKED: Lots of campaign potential here - plenty of buildings to explore. DI [...]

This is a very wonderful addition to the fantasy gaming realm. For all of those that were tired of using the old uber rehashed pyramid lay out published and republished by TSR about a thousand times, this map is great. If you are in a Cthulhu game and [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
