The characters have been navigating the maze of underground tunnels, their quest is weeks old and they are lost, being hounded by their enemies, and are running low on supplies.  They stumble upon the Cave of Life... the mushrooms make a tempting food source, yet, are they poisonous? Magical? Sentient? Does an underwater terror lurk? Or, are there other creatures guarding their food source?

You know what likes the dark and damp underground?  Spiders!  Big Spiders!  Huge Spiders with lots of little Spiders!  Yeah, characters will hate you for this one, but that creates great memories...for the ones that live.  Bring you characters face to face with thier fears.  Make the spiders poinsonous, giant or in masses, driders, spider demons etc - either way, this environment of sticky webs, and the need to climb to traverse this cavern will create a tricky environment.

These crystal strewn caves present a number of options for the GM as the players stumble upon these caves.  The crustals of all sizes could be valuable, and energy source, a light source, a preluse to a crystaline or stone golem, or any other thing that your imagination can conjour.  The caves also have a large amount of rocks and fallen debris, hinting at an unstable cave network...

Heights!  One of the most vertigo inducing, fear wracking experiences that people experience...so imagine winding along a ledge that overlooks a dark and misty drop of unknown depth...then add evil monsters and dark magic and you have the recipe for exciting encounters in a dynamic environment...

This pack contains maps of a ledge that winds its way along a sheer rock face.  The environment has challenges in the way of broken bridges, gaps in the ledge path that require climbing, jumping or expendature of resources to bypass, a rickety bridge, and a waterfall that has climbing ropes ringing it.  The centre of the map has a few platforms and spikey stalagmites looming from the darkness below.

Travelling through cavern and tunnel after cavern and tunnel will see your characters descend slowly into the underdark...why not speed it up by having the characters come across The Descent, a spiralling path that winds sharply down into the depths of the earth... and closer to thier ultimate goal...or fear!

This pack has a long tunnel that runs from the left to almost the right, switches back to run almost to the left again, and then again switches back and runs all the way off the right side - creating three tunnels connected with sharp turns.  The top most tunnel is straight and has quite a few boulders for cover and sneaking - this tunnel gives underdark denizens with long range darkvision an advantage.  The middle tunnel is winding and has many large ...

Travelling underground presents many challenges, and these challenges are compounded by introducing water to the mix.  Here we have a a large cavern that has three waterfalls spilling into a large pool.  The cavern is ringed by multiple levels that the waterfalls cascade down into the pool.  The waterway that begins here exits through a water filled tunnel, and past another tunnel that has a waterside platform with a small boat.  The waterway continues past this point until it ends in another chamber that has the water pouring in a massive waterfall into an endless misty darkness.  This chamber has small ledges on the edges, and a tunnel that exits back intop tunnels.

This pack provides Ten Basic Cave Terrain Maps!  No longer will you be caught short when needing some encounter maps!

Each map is 3840x2160 in size, and provides a basic Cave environment for running encounters and for more complex encounters after placing your own tokens, creatures, objects that probably come stock with your VTT platform of choice.
