The Forbidden Bloom

Within the Biasra Valley there lies an exquisite bloom of extreme rarity, a flower that is said to possess miraculous healing properties. Far away, a young boy lies afflicted with a terrible disease, soon to die, and a desperate grandmother grasps for any possible hope for a cure, even if it lies deep within a sacred valley where trespassers are killed on sight.

But all is not well in the lush Biasra Valley. A sickness creeps from the river, poisoning all that it touches, slowly spreading rot through the sacred garden of Ba-Dur. In fear and anger, the Ba-Durans watch their most precious possession begin to wither and die. They know not what causes it, but they know from where this contagion originates. From the river comes the plague, and from the north comes the river. Their longtime enemy to the north, the land of Bhuket, is poisoning the lifeblood of their country.

Sent on a dangerous mercy-mission, the adventurers find themselves fighting to save the life of more than just one boy, but the lives of an entire nation.
