Description:
Most practitioners of arcane magic are either feared or respected by those who learn of their powers, for even the weakest sorcerer wields forces beyond what most humanoids can comprehend. Among the arcane spellcasters, the members of the Emerald Warlocks a secretive order of powerful mages- are held in high esteem. Becoming an Emerald Warlock is no easy task. Before he can even begin to contemplate the idea of joining the secretive guild, a character must first prove that he is a mighty arcane spellcaster. Furthermore, the character must have great discipline, tremendous force of character, and the willingness to bring order to a chaotic world. Once a character meets these prerequisites, a member of the Emerald Warlocks contacts him. The character is then invited into the elite group, given a very special emerald lantern, and sent upon a quest by a high ranking official of the organization. Upon successful completion of this task, the character is anointed into the Emerald Warlocks. This four page Warrior Queen Prestige Class PDF is an easy-to-integrate PC class and just the sort of thing needed for DMs to add depth to any great d20 fantasy campaign world and gaming session. Written by Richard Farrese.

The Emerald Warlock is part of the Lost Classes range from the Devil?s Workshop / LPJ Design range of supplements that provide new prestige classes for D&D/D20 fantasy based on common fantasy (well, super heroic) archetypes. This supplement is six [...]

One can't help but make comparisons between the prestige class presented in "Lost Classes ? Emerald Warlock" and a certain DC Comics ring-wearing superhero. Louis Porter, Jr., Design and writer Richard Farrese don't hide the similarities at [...]

Ahem. Green Lantern does fantasy. Not the most original idea, but the end result is a fairly interesting prestige class. You can't beat the price, either. [...]

As mentioned by others, clearly a Green Lantern inspired mage concept. It's a very accessible idea, and could easily fit into nearly any campaign. In my mind, it's something more likely to be taken for NPCs. It adds some offensive capabilities to a [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
