The Normans are most famous for the conquest of England in 1066, but they in fact ruled a large part of northern Europe, from England down to Sicily.Â Descended from Vikings, they were a fierce and warlike people, but far more organized than their ancestors.Â This set contains all you might need for any historical game set in the first part of the second millennium, but is also ideal for many fantasy games.

The 28mm scale full colour miniatures are supplied in two formats and can be assembled as flat, A-frame or triagonal miniatures depending on personal choice . The images are all high-quality computer generated figures and bring an extra level of realism to the gaming table.Â

I can't say enough good things about the Arion paper figures. The artwork is glorious, and the inclusion of bi-fold and tri-old figures is a great plus. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. A stellar effort, which is all I'd ever expect from Arion [...]

Good variety of Norman minis which can easily be reproduced into a sufficient number of minis to be used. Great price.

This is a great set. The images are excellent. As a wargamer, what I particularly like is that all arms are represented (infantry, cavalry, missle), so I would rank it above the Crusader I and Saxon sets (which lack archers) and the Viking set (which lack [...]
