the question for most players.
Besides the compulsory evil alignment and the visage of death, lich
characters have to deal both with immense costs in gold and large experience
penalties.

who crave immortality and magical power!
The lich ascendant is a devotee of the dark arts who seeks
immortality through lichdom by slowly transforming himself into
one!

divine spellcasters who use their powers to attain a form of
immortality.

Introduces the lich template slowly through a 10-level
progression that not only grants the powers of the lich, but also allows class
progression in attacks, saves, skills and feats.
