Are you looking for a product that will satisfy your every need? Are you looking for a product that will sing you to sleep at night and shave your stubbly face in the morning? Then you probably want Braun's new singing shaver.

If, however, you are looking for an RPG supplement that is a little on the odd side for FREE, then you've come to the right place. The Book of Oafish Might is a 34-page excursion into the slightly (ok, VERY) eccentric side of gaming.

"What, pray tell," you may ask, "is included in this dismal little product?"

Well, Olaf, how about:

Ten uses for a pre-animated iron golem! "New" fantasy prose, aged for more than 13 years! Odd creatures such as the lurking lettuce and the forum troll! New and bizarre templates to create creatures from the ridiculous to the ridiculously sublimely ridiculous! A table of contents! Ubiquitous new spells and feats! And much, much more!

So what are you waiting for? It's free, it's fun, and it's printed on 100% recycled electrons to save the environment! Download yours today and see for yourself why no one in their right mind is talking about The Book of Oafish Might!

There are basically two ways to write a humorous RPG sourcebook. One way is to write playable material that is potentially funny and let other gamers use it. In doing so, other gamers create their own humor. Rifter Issue #9 1/2 is an example of this [...]

I was dubious at first on downloading this even though it was free. But I have to say this book had me in stitches. And I may even use some of the oddities within in my games. For an April Fools Day release this is a great publication even if it was me [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
