Inspiration Pad Pro 2.0

Inspiration Pad Pro is a free program you can use to generate all sorts of things for your campaign. Generate names, town information, encounters, treasures - you name it!

Inspiration Pad Pro uses text files called 'generators' to tell it how to generate information for you. You can create your own, modify existing generators, or just use the ones included with the program as-is. Because of this, it's easy to customize generators to the needs of your own specific campaign.

Also included with the program are a number of sample generators and help files in both Windows Help and PDF form.

A lot has changed for this version!

• Re-designed interface
  The program now features a more modern interface, and an easy to use tree display of generators to allow you to categorize your tables into multiple folders.
  
• Math expressions
  You can now evaluate math expressions within your tables.
  
• Prompts
  Generators can ask the user for parameters. For example, a treasure generator can ask for a CR level.
  
• Nesting
  Table calls, variables, dice rolls, and math expressions can all be nested within each other, to any depth.
  
• Conditionals
  Tables can now perform actions or branch based on the value of an expression.
  
• New filters
  Additional filters for text manipulation and platform independent formatting.
  
• Line continuation
  Complex table entries can be broken up and spread across multiple lines in your generator file to make them more readable.

  Variables can now be created on the fly, right inside table items.

Inspiration Pad Pro command line version for Windows/Linux/FreeBSD and CGI

Do you use Linux? Can you type faster than you can click? Do you want to put the tables you've created online? Then use the Inspiration Pad Pro command line version!

Inspiration Pad Pro comes with command line versions for Windows, Linux (Intel), and Free BSD. You can use the program right from your command shell. All generated items are sent to standard output.

System Requirements (for Windows Application):

• Intel Pentium IV class PC or higher with 256 meg of ram
• 10 meg of free hard disk space
• Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or later must be installed on your computer

System Requirements (for Command Line Application):

• Intel Pentium II class PC or higher with 64 meg of ram
• 10 meg of free hard disk space
• One of the following Operating Systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista
  • Linux (Intel)
  • Free BSD.

System Requirements (for CGI Usage):
For CGI usage, in addition to the command line application requirements listed above, a web server with CGI capabilities (Apache, IIS, etc.) is required.
