Though it may be Difficult Terrain for figures to mass through the windows and doors of the medieval church, once inside they will benefit from a Defended Obstacle as they regroup and fortify their position inside, ready to repel invaders or charge forwards from this temporary haven.  Also, the three-storey tower is ideal as a vantage point for observing the field of battle, the sniping opportunities it provides can be invaluable.  Joel Teply Productions’ Medieval Church provides a readily recognizable tabletop landmark for an objective, a rallying point, a fortified position from whence troops and characters can sally forth, the site of a heroic last stand….  The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

The roof of Joel Teply Productions’ Medieval Church is designed to be easily lifted off in the midst of play, perfect for revealing hidden reinforcements or to insert figures into the interior of the church building as they forge their way inside.  A separately available expansion pack will allow you to add interior detail if desired, such as for roleplaying games using miniatures.

Joel Teply Productions’ Medieval Church can be constructed using either regular printer/copier paper or cardstock, and is sturdy enough to handle regular game play wear and tear, including dice impacts and repeated re-assembly into different configurations between games.  The tower, main building, and entryway extensions are all separate units, and as such can be repositioned differently with each game to expand tactical opportunities and the overall look of the terrain piece.  Also, you can choose to print out and construct additional towers and entryway extensions to build a truly massive terrain piece for your tabletop.  Simple step-by-step instructions accompanied by photographs make Joel Teply Productions’ Medieval Church quick and easy to construct
