One Dollar Dungeons: Fighter's Barroom Brawl Map Pack

Has the owner gotten tired of the frequent fights and hired you as a bouncer? Think you have what it takes to beat the best in the nightly drinking contest? Come to glean information from the shadowy figure at the private table in the back? Or, like most patrons, are you just there to get rowdy and knock some teeth in? With D20 Cartographer, the story is in your hands!

Fighter's Barroom Brawl is the second in a series of One Dollar Dungeon maps, which represent convenient starting locations or class-specific adventure locals for each traditional RPG character class. Fighter‘s Barroom Brawl is a rough-and-tumble tavern and inn so you can have access to your beds and your booze in one place! The taproom and inn features two floors and a cellar mapped out in typical 1 in. = 5 ft. map format.

Included for your convenience are several different formats including:

- Full color map in a single .jpg (versions with and without grid)
- High contrast black and white map in a single .jpg (great for printing on parchment textured paper)
- PDF of the sliced images for your home printer, compatible with US Letter and A4 size paper

D20 Cartographer also supports Virtual Table Top systems and includes:

- 100DPI gridless .jpg map with objects removed
- Objects in .png format for use on this map or reuse on your private maps
- An RPTools MapTool VTT file (.rpmap) with vision blocking and object layer set up for you
and lots of neat tricks like chairs, tables, and barstools set up with macros so you can flip them over from anger or for cover with one click, candles that light or extinguish with a single button press, and spillable beers--the perfect reason to start a fistfight!

Nicely done, professional looking map for a tavern. Includes options for grids / no grids, print and electronic versions. I don't do VTT games but I was still pleasantly surprised to see all the individual images included so you can use the basic layou [...]

The Fighter's Barroom Brawl is the 2nd map pack of then One Dollar Dungeons collection and I like it. It's a typical medieval tavern with regulars' table, bar and kitchen on the base floor, a little cellar and spare rooms on the upper floor. Unlike the [...]

I do most of my gaming online via VTT. This is an excellent product. You get not only a great map but also all the individual objects. These can be used to populate other maps or just let you rearrange things to keep the map from getting stale. [...]

Yet another winner under D20 Cartographer's belt. This map will be a steady staple in my map library. The inclusion of objects as manageable items makes it a very versatile map and the price cannot be beat! The colors and clarity of all of the maps in [...]

I feel like I'm going to say similar things about all of the D20 Cartographer products to date. They are easily worth the $1 with black and white, color, gridded, non-gridded, MapTool compatible (including objects, vision blocking, etc.) versions of th [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
