Jurassic Ancestry is being brought back for revision, meaning that for now this version of the game is out for free to inspire interest. In the new version we at Joker's Playground hope to achieve:

-A "new" combat system that encompasses the Card system, but will also have a dice version that can be used along with the Card version as equals. This means that friends who prefer dice can use them while you use cards

-An Increase in Ancestries: The four basic Dinosaurs will no longer be alone. Added soon will be the Ankylosaurus, Packycepholosaurus, and possible others.

-Clearer rules: The rules will be reworked to include more situations and better, more thourough explenation

At this moment, this obsolete version is now Free To Play, and will no longer be updated. Buyers of this product will automatically recieve the new version when it is released. Around the year 2025 scientists began to notice strange occurrences in the human genome. This change seemed to lead people to become more savage, even killers. It was first labelled a disease much like rabies that would slowly turn you into a savage beast. Roughly 1 in 1000 people got it. But eventually a doctor by the name of Alfred Gurvenhowzer was able to pinpoint that these changes were not a disease, but a type of ancestral framework embedded into our DNA. It wasn't till about 2040 when Alfred and his scientists were finally able to conclude that the ancestry was not from our common ancestors such as monkeys or apes, but of dinosaurs.

Now in the year, 2059 the world is not a world at war, but a world of war. Join the fight by playing a superior super-soldier powered by your Dinosaurial Instincts, and the unique playing card based "Critical Bar" rule system. Welcome to Jurassic Ancestry!

This Core Rulebook includes:

-4 different Dinosaur Ancestries, each with 20 unique abilities, seperated into 4 catagories

-25 unique Human abilities, seperated into 5 catagories

-A How to play section that details how to use the unique playing card based Critical Bar system

-Basic history of some of the major changes in the new world

-A starter mission that puts your characters right into the world of Jurassic Ancestry
