Born In Flames Free sample

This free product is a short encounter that should provide an hour or two of play. The encounter is an introduction to the forthcoming “Born In Flames” campaign for the “Spelldancer” fantasy RPG and will appear as the introductory encounter in that product.

This 3 page encounter can easily be converted for use in other RPG systems.

The characters are relaxing on a cool, clear summers night in the hamlet of Longstaff when the tanner's house mysteriously catches fire, trapping the tanner's husband inside and threatening to spread to other buildings in the village.

Can the PCs rescue the unconscious man from the blazing house before it is too late? and just what is the strange, burning apparition that seems to be the cause of the fire?
