Description:
Not all armored vehicles are in the hands of the military. Some ends up in the hands of police and civilian entities, for good or bad.
In this booklet, we examine the very first financial services armored car, the Bellamore Armored Motor Bank Car. Built in 1910, it was the first armored vehicle built to deal with the transportation of large amounts of currency. It was also unusual for the fact that it was also intended to operate as a bank on wheels, capable of handling any and all banking transactions a customer required.
But this wasn't the first armored vehicle developed for the banking industry. Bellamore also designed a contraption he called the Portable Bank Safe, which was far more like today's financial services armored cars, except for the small vault of safe deposit boxes it also carried. Because of a seven year delay in obtaining the patent, no actual Portable Bank Safe was actually built, unlike the Armored Motor Bank Car.
As usual, this book includes appendices with statistical data compatible with D20 Modern, Spycraft 2.0, and Savage Worlds. Perfect for your gangbusters genre game.
