Infamous Adversaries: Slogar the Uncaring [Revised]

SLOGAR THE UNCARING—CR 7, CE half-orc cleric (theologian) of murder 8

Covered in the ever-present stench of his victims, the wretched half-orc is seen as a children’s tale used to frighten misguided youths into behaving. He is all too real though, and all too eager to bleed the life out of those he seeks enlightenment from. A pile of steaming entrails, a corpse’s face frozen in horror, and a path of bloody hoof prints signify that you are on the right trail of Slogar the Uncaring.

The world is filled with colorful characters of many hues. Not all within subscribe to black or white; many are shades of grey. Infamous Adversaries characters, by TPK Games, shows you villains in their true light—insidious. These are not merely NPCs to fill your game; they are villains in the truest sense of the word, complete with stories that don’t just tell the character’s tale, but enrich your game. Our adversaries are not villains because they have evil alignments; they are villains because your players will despise them.

Infamous Adversaries contains: one ready to use villain, complete with equipment, a rich background including motives, history, personality, network, resources, lair, tactics, morale, advancement options, a quote, plot hooks to easily insert them into your campaign, local lore, full color art and a vibrant description. The Infamous Adversaries characters are designed to challenge an entire party; not just in combat, but also through less direct methods requiring careful planning and confrontation.

This Infamous Adversary sourcebook contains Slogar the Uncaring, a half-orc theologian of murder and his fast zombie steed Daisy Pusher.

Give your players a reason to hate again. You can blame it on us...

*This file has been extensively revised.  As our initial product offering, it has been updated to meet the current standards of quality that TPK Games provides.  In addition, we’ve added new custom content (a map of his hideout, short fiction, three new magic items and a spell, plus bundled with Hero Lab files).

This pdf is 20 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 4 pages advertisement, and 1 page SRD back cover, leaving 13 pages for Slogar the Uncaring, so, what is he about? After a full-color, one-page artwork of Slogar the half-orc and hi [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
