This product was written for 3rd edition rules but can be easily modified to 3.5

Outfit your characters with armor that does more than just add points to their armor class. Here are just a few of the items we pulled out of our magic armory this time: Armor of the Crypts, Touchback Armor, Swarm Shield, and Armor of Transformation.

The Buck-A-Batch line is part of System 20, a design your own supplement system created by Creation's Edge Games.

Sample:

Eagle Shield This +1 large steel shield bears the image of a fierce eagle worked into its surface. Once per day the owner of the shield may use it to summon a celestial eagle to fight for them. This summoning is identical to that of a summon monster II (as described in the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook, Third Edition) spell as though cast by a 5th level wizard. This shield may only be used by characters of good alignment.
Caster level: 5th / Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, summon monster II / Market Value: 1,420 / Cost to Create: 710gp + 56xp

Not as many duplicate effects as with the other sets, but still lacking the imagination and inspiration I'd like to see in a product of this nature. Carries the feel of something simply slapped on paper.

I bought a bunch of these (most if not all) and like them quite a bit. I'm always on the lookout for interesting magic items that are well made. These fit the bill well. Very reasonably priced as well.

I really like the Buck-A-Batch items. They might repeat the same text a few times just changing the type of item (like elemental). I still like them.

Really great product value for the price, could be sold for even a little more. As a DM it's nice to have my players not immediately recognize every item they find or are awarded. I'm sure other DM's can identify with that!

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format

These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
