I'm using these paper minis for several games. They fit in well with my Command Combat: Civil War rules. I use them especially when I'm on the road and it's hard for me to transport metal or plastic minis, and at conventions, people enjoy them because I'm able to give them the army they played with. I'll have them with me in July when I put on Gettysburg at Historicon. They really do look great as minis.
Oh, and one of the nice things also is that I can alter them, putting in whatever color code I want, writing the names of generals, what units they belong to, etc.

I got this download because it was free. I don't do ACW but I thought I might find something useful for wild west scenarios. I printed out one of the snake tree fences (which will make nice, rough and ready corralsfrom materials at hand sorta thing) and one of the stone walls (which can easily be used in a town setting). Both look very good and I will be using them both. Each fence/wall section comes in one of two different sizes so as to allow you to vary the size of your enclosure. A gate piece would have been nice, especially for the stone wall. Even an ACW scenario could use one or two. I didn't print out any of the trees because I already have that type of terrain covered. Definetly worth the price.

These are the best paper models I have ever found for wargaming. They work well with warlord games pike and shotte, victory without quarter, father tilly 4 and WECW (the nifty casualty markers mean you don't need figure removal with these two rulesets). You can fit a 1000 figure army into a 1" high A4 box and I have never met a gamer who poo poos them they look better than may painted ECW army. If you have ever wanted to try the thirty years war or the english civil buy this set, a bit of glue and board and you are away.

The whole line of American Civil War minis are works of art that give a vintage photograph feel to the gaming experience. For the price, it can't be beat!!!

THESE ECW PAPER FIGURES ARE SUPERB - ARMIES PRINTED IN MINUTES - I HAVE PRINTED THEM SMALLER TO ALLOW FOR LARGE BATTLES TO BE FOUGHT AND THE QUALITY OF PRINTING IS STILL THERE. JUST LIKE THE ENGRAVING OF THE BATTLE OF NASEBY. PLUS THE SCENERY AS WELL!.VERY VERY PLEASED. WORTH EVERY PENNY - I' M FROM ENGLAND.

These paper miniatures are stunning! The illustrations are gorgeous and invoke the feel of the period brilliantly. You really do get a lot for your money, especially when you take into account the ease of construction and the variety of troops included. If you want to play ECW battle inexpensively or just want to create a very striking ECW battlefield tableau then this set is for you. I can't recommend these miniatures highly enough!

I have rated this low due to the fact that it is a smaller scale than 25MM. It is a better fit for 15mm figures. With the proper programs you may be able to resize but I do not have that capability.
The actual quality is excellent.

This is an excellent update. The Hall and the walls just beg to have a siege/assault game played. Even the historical siege of Basing House comes to mind!!
I like the new artillery, gives the units depth.
As for the church..well that is great!! I did suggest to Billy Bones a Church was a must for Paper Battles and now we have one.
This was purely selfish as I wanted to refight the Battle for Alton Church. I wanted to fight it as my ancester died at Alton fighting for the king!

This set is a nice addition to the earlier English civil War figure set. The graphic, while in the same style, are improved with a "rear view', instead of "mirrored fronts". The illustrations are clear, and print well. Units of Highlanders, Irish, Lowland pike and shotte, and various cavalry and artillery are well-represented. I will be using my figures for the Polemos English Civil War rules . another great value from Billy Bones!

This collection of print-and-build tents gives you three sizes in each of two scales (28mm and 15mm). The small tent has a footprint of four squares wide by six long. The medium and large tents share a 5 x 7 footprint, with the large tent standing taller than the medium one. The models are easily assembled and look fine. As a USA customer, I would have preferred a paper size other than A4, but that's a minor complaint. I would also have welcomed some color variations among the tents.

This set goes above and beyond. The list of what you get shown in the description does not do justice to what you actually get.
In the Foot file alone you get: Clubmen, Forlorn Hope, Early Musketeers, Later Musketeers, New Model Army Musketeers, Seasoned Musketeers, Uniformed Musketeers, Officers of Foot 1, Officers of Foot 2, Early Pikemen, New Model Army Pikemen, Seasoned Pikemen, Trained Band Pikemen , Unarmoured Pikemen.
In the Dragoons file you get no less than 8 different types and Horse you get 9!
Casualty, Rout, Control and Smoke markers. Generals, 11 types of scenery including a windmill and a bridge, for artillery you get Falconets, Sakers, Culverins and even orphaned guns.
And these are easy to make and look fantastic when done.
Easily worth much more than what you will spend.
I eagerly await more sets.

I'm a big fan of paper historical miniatures, and these are some of the best. Everything you need for non Scots/Irish armies of the ECW are hear, drawn in a very pleasing style that prints well. Assembly is not difficult, and a few dozen stands can be finished while watching a movie. The scenery included is a nice touch as well. I am looking forward to the expansions promised. Recommended!
