Alternate Occupations

I think the completely random nature of DCC's character creation is one of it's biggest strengths, so I'm likely to use the occupation by race or class organization, but it's hard to argue the usefulness of those charts given that it's likely a pretty popular house rule for those running the game.

Still, for two dollars, the expansion of starting occupations and the simple list of what those occupations are is well worth the price of the product.

A great resource for Dungeon Crawl Classics! It gives a universal list of all of the occupations which can be rolled for randomly, or you can give the players in your group a little more freedom in shaping and molding their 0-level characters since it breaks all of the occupations down into race- and class-themed lists (which are also randomly rolled). I love it!

I like that they have tables for races, occupations by class seems to screw up what DCC had going for it, i.e. 0 level characters that had to come into thier own. But if your set on a specific class this works great.

It's only $2 & for that price not a bad PDF for your DCC library. But I think experienced GM's would be able to come up with something similar on their own.

All in all, Good deal for $2
