The Heart of Darkness
by Philip P. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/14/2012 14:56:54
At a time where Dungeons & Dragons releases have become more dull and streamlined, it's refreshing to see an author pour so much heart into providing a rich setting for fans of AD&D. Fans of gothic horror will rejoice in this suitably creepy setting by Mr. Graboff. The backstory information is as fleshed out as you would expect from a high fantasy novel, and the artwork featured throughout is the sort sorely lacking from the cartoony later editions of D&D. Avid gamers will easily enjoy numerous sessions from this module. Hopefully there is more to come from the author, and the 10th age.

Sordid Stories from the Mother City
by Eugene M. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/29/2012 06:08:40
This PDF contains an adventure arc that a player group can dip into in a number of ways, useful for avoiding that feel of being led, though it has a clear time line which is GM friendly, as are the basic maps. It's well written and has some historic woodcut illustrations which set the mood.

I liked the product, it has familiar old D&D stats which I felt comfortable with, easy to adapt and spark ideas and kinda begs to have titbits thrown to the players as a build up to the events portrayed.

A welcome addition to my library, will update as and when I run it, encouraged me to check the other city product..

The Adventurer's Guide to the Imperial City
by Chris F. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/28/2012 15:16:58
One of the neatest high-fantasy citybooks I've read in a while and it's free. There is absolutely no reason for gamers not to pick this thing up. The city of Miles is a great adventure hub,and has plenty of ideas you can steal for you home games, no matter what system you use.
