Really liked the concept, just wasn't as comfortable with the methodology.

Interesting concept. i'm always interested in rules that allow my players to customize their characters, and reward them for the quirky things they come up with to set their chracters apart. This supplement was useful reading to allow me to create such a system. However, many of the items I found in it were odd at best, and unplayable at worst. That said I would say that it's still very worth looking at, especially if you're a GM who's looking at starting up a new campaign with some players who are less than interested in starting over again.

This outstaning supplement should not be overlooked. If you've been looking for a way to expand your D20 characters you should consider a copy of this PDF. It's clearly written and easy to comprehend and implement after a single reading.

The GURPS player in me likes that you can now have a disadvantage or two, and get a little compensation in return. It adds for more character customization, and makes even the "same" characters be a little different.

Even if you can't find any advantages to your liking, the opportuniy to get an extra feat is appealing (for the price of two disadvantages, or one major one).

This is a great product.

Why? Well it gives characters some much needed roleplaying meat to help flesh out a character. As long as a GM makes sure not to let players go crazy with them which could unbalance a game. But one or two really make for a great game addition. My players all liked them. I plan to add them into the game slowly.

Some of them I don't think anyone would ever take but the vast majority of the rest of them are very useful. The end part which allows for players to have boats, keeps and such or even just simple investments really adds something that I was looking for.

Over all well worth the money.

Excellent idea, and well executed. It may be abusable by Munchkins, so be prepared as a DM to sometimes say "No".

The layout could have been better.
