Another great CG paper minis' set by Dakkar Unlimited. About 90 stand-in figures with front and back arts useful with any modern horror and sci-fi setting. The product's overall layout is excellent. Cover, table of contents, clear instructions, excellent figures, game statistics ... It's always a pleasure for a buyer to see a product so complete and beautiful. Thanks.

Excellent paper minis. really good and very useful ( together with next cavalry, musketeers and artillery sets next cavalry, musketeers and artillery sets ) as generic pikemen for all Thirty Years' War nationalities and English Civil War factions.

There is no doubt about Adam STEEL's artistic skills and about DARKMOOK Paper Miniatures products' quality.
And this last product is really not just only a set of paper minis but also a complete expansion for Darkmook's "Survival Horror Game Tabletop" boardgame. There are new characters, new cards, special rules, a new boardgame tile ...
And for those aren't interested in the game there is also a paper minis' simple page. A complete product, at highest quality.
But what surprised me the most ( I had no doubts, but I had never seen this production's aspect ) is the full author's ability to reproduce excellently, and in this scale, iconic characters of a TV show without any loss of features.
This is really a great product, Darkmook. Bravo!

A paper minis' perfect set. Complete and accurate figures' historical drawing, great colors, good variety. Possibility of make small changes with the addition of shields, banners, and 2.5D wings ... A little jewel set, really!
But the first eight pages, with map, brief history of this legendary military formation that dominated the battlefields of Eastern Europe for over two hundred years, description and drawings of each piece of armor and weapons, combat tactics ... make this product not only a set of paper figures but a small historical handbook about this legendary military corps, that should not be missing to any wargamer or military history fan.
After the second set, with other information and news, I hope that the author will also produce some enemies' sets (Turks, Cossacks ...), with the same quality of this, and then he pass to look in the same way other historical famous military corps ( roman legions, hoplite phalanx, spanish tercios ... )

This is really an excellent product. 92 very good modern/near future different CG paper standees at this price is really a big deal. No exceptions.
These figures are made for "Hot Chicks: The RPG" but they are extremely useful in any other setting ( RPG or wargame ). I am an adult. And I have no problem with "adult" figures when these are needed for a setting but in this specific case there aren't x-rated figures ( only 2/3 figures in bikinis and no naked ), so everyone is appeased.
This is also true ( no bikinis, no naked ) with previous Dakkar Unlimited "stuff to beat up" sets ( 2006/2007 products but very beautiful and useful today. High tech squads, zombies, ninjas and WW2 German, robots and sci-fi armor suads. 48 beautiful different figures for each set ).
This last product is very well "packaged". Nice cover, very good statement. Clear and complete instructions. 92 different figures with front and back art ( it is not so hard, was it? ). Realistic poses and good design. Characters links to the original HK supplements, for each figure. And two page game statistics sheet for characters who did not yet have their prior statistics' sheet .
Perfect. No lacks.

Very good "classical" figures flats. Great drawing, colors and overall art ( but I don't expect less from "ProdigyDuck" ).
Excellent product. Twelve flats at a very good price. This is a "well-packaged" product, with various figures' options ( A-Frame, Tri-Fold and tokens ).
But there is no back art ( only black silhouette ). A real shame, imho. Because the artist, Jacob Blackmon, is perfectly able to drawing back arts ( and not all have this ability ) and does it well, too.

Excellent tavern's tiles. Great colors and realistic architecture. A version without furniture ( or fwith 3D furniture ) would have been even more useful. But even so this is a great product.

Gorgeous figures. There is no back art . With this lack the gray mirrored figure helps to keep up the rating.

These buildings models are of the same high quality of the producer's vehicle models. Realistic and simple models, as in reality, they are drawn with great skill. The "containerizing to FUS" bonus option makes them even more useful.
Even with these models are full and clear instructions and automatic cutting machines files.

This is not a real review, I am not a professional reviewer. This is only a buyer's subjective opinion. After a purchase. :-)
This model is exceptional. Perfect technical aspect, moving parts, complete support files (instructions, automatic cutting machine files ...). It is the ideal complement to M722 Light Expeditionary Vehicle ( it can be fit into the dropship's cargo compartment ) and together they form the ideal land/air support for any sci-fi infantry.
What could be missing ( but not for me ) ? A bundle with the two models together.

I'm not really a cardboard model maker, so after a few years since my last Ebbles Miniatures' purchase today I bought these new models, now by Genet Models. And I am truly amazed. I am amazed not just because of author's technical and artistic constantly evolving but also because in this I see a complete continuity between the products of his production that makes all his models fully compatible with each other ( I think about Kirchner MBT or Beauregard IFV ... )
The M722 Light Expeditionary Vehicle is a perfect model. Realistic and complete. With moving parts, excellent engineering design, true color ... The product comes with an excellent 24-page illustrated instruction file that helps in the construction of the model step by step. And this is not a thing to be underestimated, both for the model's construction and for assessing the produt's completeness and quality. With the model are given all automatic cutting machine files.
All the above makes these products the top of their kind. Paper models that does not disfigure with any minis. This bundle's offer allows to have all this vehicle's color variations at a truly affordable price.

This set introduces the Alexander's cavalry in Permes' "Ancient Warriors" series ( previous sets are Hoplites, Persians and Macedonian infantrymen ). There are 4/5 basic figures. But weapons, mounts, helmets, colors' change ... doesn't regret this number and the twenty figures that there are allow to have a good quantity for any game ...
Important point is that the historical representation of these figures is perfect. In design and colors. And the set's opening pages offer a very respectable artistic addition. A real treat for eyes.

Great artworks. Good minis. But a black border, or other color, really help the shapes' cutting.
There is no back art ( - 1 ). But this is an artist and producer's choice. It is always visually nice but it doesn't always need.
If you remove the black silhouette ( it is really overused and ugly ) and leave the dark gray mirrored image as back art it is much much better. If then you add an option to have, as back art, a full colored mirror image ( at least the wonderful artwork can be admired from all sides ), you offer an excellent and comprehensive product.

Excellent cg (or retouched cg ) figures. They are standies but can easily become "minis" (cutting with a small white border around the shape). For the price 98 ( but they are in fact 100 ) different figures are a very good deal.
There are very few WWII sodliers 'sets ( I only remember Arion Games' sets and Paper Tiger Armaments' figures ), so a good set is always welcome.
