Game Masters Soundpack: Sci-Fi: Future Ads

Something I've been after for a long time - Movies have ads running in the background all the time to evoke the setting and lend realism to the science fiction. This pack (in what I hope will be many) gives you a variety of scifi subgenre ads that can be used for spacestations, markets, malls an alpha complexes :) Collectible Coin Commercial - suitable for any subgenre set after 2400 AD Outer Planet Colony Ad - obviously inspired by Blade Runner and with a clean, broken billboard and dirigible version - would be great for any dystopian future or cyberpunk setting Planetary Defense Corps - general military recruitment propoganda, good for any subgenre Protean Protein - Slightly comedic. Better for Paranoia and Judge Dredd, but could be in more serious subgenres too. Razgun Recollection - Similar to the Coin Commercial about the Razgun war, a nice generic un-specified alien race type in general constellations. Somewhat Bladerunner-y Rocket Pod Race - Scifi version of car rally ads that seem to have the announcer turned up to 11 :) Sabertronics Android - good high tech ad - lots of plot potential and slightly comedic if you play all of the disclaimer at the end :) Suspended Animation Chamber - general starship equipment ad.

Very detailed combat, interesting character creation rules and I think possibly one of the best rules sets for representing the Sword and Sorcery genre. My only regret is, that while it's thematic to the genre - I wishe there weren't naked women on the borders of every page. it makes it much harder to read in public.

Bumper Value Set #1 [BUNDLE]

Good textures and tutorials on the website. Fairly good value for money. However - as someone who has designed paper models in the past, I question the value of never using paper tabs in construction, but relying on thick card and gluing the edges of cards - while it gives you a neater edge, it dramatically increases the difficulty of putting together a model. Paper tabs do need to be accomodated in the design, but can also be used as a method of spacing for interior placements of items (IMHO).

On another note - promoting the use of photo paper for the colour textures is all well and good - but the gloss of the paper makes it very slippery. That'd be okay if you had a method of securing the walls and items to the floor and not just to each other - as it is, I can see that moving miniatures around is going to mean continual adjustment of the objects on the map when they get bumped. How about thicker card and slots for the floor as well?
