A fun take on something familiar. I probably won't use it as is but it has given me some great ideas. Maybe a gymnast.

Some very good humor, but at the same time, the Unorthodox Cheerleader is still a viable class in any campaign as long as your GM doesn't mind a bit of humor. Being a modern day martial artist/bard, the Unorthodox Cheerleader can fight while at the same time bolstering her allies.

LIKED: The humorous nature while at the same time keeping it actually a useful class. Also, using real photos adds a "real" feel to it, which helps I think for a modern day RPG game.

DISLIKED: I can't really think of anything I really "didn't" like about this book. :)

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied

While not suitable for every D20 Modern campaign, I found a player in my group who wanted his wife to play but she was not interested. I mentioned that I had seen this product online and he said his wife might be interested in someting more "girly." After I bought UMC and gave him the character class information, his wife joined our group and has been a great asset to their party since, not only does she provide some well-appreciated "color" to the game, but her unique non-experienced insights have solved more than one dilemma facing the party.

LIKED: I appreciate that both a printer-friendly and monitor-friendly version are provided as well as alternate color covers for those who like to carry a print version.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied

You know, I am still not 100% certain as to why I picked up this PDF. However, I did and I have that I have gotten some pretty good fun out of it. I do think that is the big selling point to this, and other products from thele games...they are fun. This, and other of their stuff that I have seen have that madcap energy that I loved so much back when I first opened up my first D&D boxed set. I really think that gaming needs more madcap fun.

That and the unorthodox cheerleader in the pictures rocks.

LIKED: Good clean fun. Like I said, more game books need to be about the fun.

DISLIKED: It might be a bit of a niche.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied

Really interesting, and definitely "Unorthodox", but still fun.

LIKED: The FX items and the Cheerleader AdC itself.

DISLIKED: The Vinyl-clad cover-model, the "On the Fast Track" section (which gives a good way into the class, but is worded badly, making it seem that you have to be a Fast Hero 3 to even enter the class), oh, and the fact that the Smart Hero build (The Choreographer) is an illegal build, since Savant (or Linguist) needs to be taken before Plan, Exploit Weakness, or Trick is taken.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
