I found this product to be extremely useful. It doesn't really matter what genre you play, a swamp is a swamp :) It is a simple matter to swap out a fantasy element to add a sci-fi or science-fantasy element.

The details on types of swamps, gasses and mud were enlightening and very useful.

This book is great it really adds a lot to encounters and traveling about in swamps. It gave me a few ideas I never considered at all before and the use of descriptive langage is a certainyl a notch above the average I can whip up while runnign on the fly or doing a lot of prep work.

LIKED: Lots of write ups good solid use.

QUALITY: Acceptable

Great atmospheric passages and quick and easy encounter inserts.

LIKED: The atmosphere was something I was struggling with, so thats good, also the inserts are nice brief 'wandering monster' type encounters that encounter traps, odd bits of equipment etc as well as creatures.

DISLIKED: Can't think of any problems

QUALITY: Very Good

Each one of these bits books has made its way into my campaign. This was the latest one and it came right on time as my party was venturing through a swampy section of the world. The thing that gets me about these products is that the writing is always unique. I've yet to come across a description that soundedl ike something from the previous books.

LIKED: the uniqueness, who'd have thoguht there would be 150 things to say about swamps

Simply a very useful product for those who are using wetlands as either a setting or simply a location within a setting. The sections on insects interested me a great deal since that aspect is usually glossed over in other wilderness products that feature wetlands.

The overview of different types of swamps is very handy for world building and of course the bits and shards are useful for session prep (the index is a godsend for this).

QUALITY: Excellent
