not bad, but WAY too aimed at d20 future; a bit stuck on the 'COOL VEHICLE' mode as opposed to who would buy one of these...and no guide as to how much one of these would cost, either....

LIKED: nice concepts, artwork

DISLIKED: Overall, taking the mildly low road...targeting the 8-10 year old in all us RPGers; no price guides...artwork didn't quite mesh with the concepts.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Please try not to take offence with this first comment, but as this product is actually aimed at D20 Future and has FUTURE in big letters on the cover, and is a Future product why did you think it was modern based? We can only try to give a guide to what area of gaming the products we produce are aimed at and had hoped that it was quite clear with this product. Thanks for the comment on cost of the vehicles, it is something we missed slightly deliberately but if users think it is something we should put in then we can do it - look out for another update. As to taking the low road, I prefer to think of it as the space opera side of Sci-Fi gaming, as a long time fan of EE "doc" Smith and others, its an area I think has been missed by many companies, and would hope that certain of our products would fill the gap. We have a range of vehicles planned for Modern/Future based on hypothetical real world developement which should suit our YotZ range of products and other 10 year on post-apocalyptic eras. Hope that answers some of you queries and would remind you that we welcome comments and input to us about products. please use ukg@ukg-publishing.co.uk as a point of contact email address for any comments, requests or submissions

While this product is closer to the mark then it?s Showroom stablemate on APCs, it?s still not that great. What is purported to be a product covering light tactical vehicles, ie., jeeps, what we get instead is a collection of Fast Attack Vehicles more in keeping with G.I. Joe or Megaforce then really useful vehicles.

Basicly every ?jeep? in the book has a) holds 1-2 crew; b) carries some weapon behind the cab in a remote turret like that MG jeep from the early Marvel Comics GI Joe. Now, while I wouldn?t mind seeing a few of these FAVs in a product, none of them really vary beyond that theme. It would have been nice to see something more practical to an adventuring or real military group in here. Something with a bit more capacity and something NOT looking like it came out of a game of Command & Conquer. Give us something like an R-SOV, or Wolf, or some of the new USASOC-employed HMMWVs (having a brain cramp and can?t remember their nomenclature now).

Again, I implore UKG that if you do products like this again, give a look at real world designs and developments and try and track down some folks with practical knowledge. Yeah, a dune buggy with a rocket launcher looks really sexy, two I guess are cool. 70% of you product on that theme is a bit much.

While we appreciate your feedback, we feel that your primary criticisms are a bit anachronistic, given that the product details imagined military vehicles of the far future that may not necessarily adhere to the standards of modern military vehicle classification or design. And as the product is aimed at a space opera type future then realism based on hummers is not what we were looking for. You may however wish to watch out for our forthcoming range of vehicles aimed at Modern/Post Apocalytic vehicles as these may fit your requirements more. Anyway thanks for the feedback.
