A very disappointing product.
I was looking for a large keep or castle that I could print out as a set of battle-maps and this product was not usable.
Cons
1. The scale is not in 1 inch squares. I have to manually scale each image.
2. Images are named with numbers not by the name of the keep. Really, how hard would it have been to use human readable names. Each keep has only a handful of images but put them all in the same directory and it becomes very time consuming to work with.
3. GIF format not PDF! Really? How hard would it have been to include both?
4. Not pre-broken into printable sizes! Yes I can do this manually but it takes time and the only reason I buy items like this is to save time not add to my work load.
5. A clumsy web interface is used to access the images. See comment #2 above.
Pros
1. They are very nicely drawn maps.

Outstanding value for the price. The floor plans are nicely detailed and extensive, this is a product I can recommend.

Worth the buck
Two different floorplans one for player one for the DM.
In one room there is a hidden compartment which is just one square wide.
In the DM map it is visible in the player map the room is hidden!.completly.

Quite an impressive product. The maps are quite detailed and well done. The brief descriptions of the various rooms is also a great help.
The only drawback I have is that the interface takes a little getting used to with what window opens where or if a new one pops up.
But overall a very good product.

Well done maps, very thorough. You get a wide variety of maps for your money.
LIKED: I enjoyed the fact that each was avaiable as an indivudal file, as well as accesible through a browser window.
DISLIKED: I could take or leave the html interface design--could use a little work.

Great to be able to just grab a floor plan and start gaming. Great concept, great job!!!
LIKED: That is was easy to navigate being in a web site like format and not a .pdf.
DISLIKED: I would have liked the option of having a .pdf printable copy. However, because all but a couple floorplans were MONSTEROUS you needed to print multiple pages to see any detail.

Another fine set of maps! They look very professional and can be enlarged up to 1" grids without a loss of detail on a b&w plotter.

An excellent piece of work. The maps are of superb quality and what?s here can be easily placed into any city and/or campaign.

Any GM knows how difficult it is to, in addition to all your other responsibilities, play architect as well. Especially when it comes to medieval settings: how can you accurately design a castle or keep if you've never explored one from side to side? Where does the lord live? What does a gatehouse look like? How are murder holes designed, and how high are crennelations?
If you know what I'm talking about, you will love this well-executed product. It contains five fully designed castles and keeps (one of them has 10 floors!) in great detail and with excellent research. Each room has a short description -- detailed enough to describe its appearance and functionality, short enough to leave the story-related details to your own design.
I can strongly recommend this product to any GM managing a strongly map-centered campaign containing castles, keeps or towers.

A lot of detailed maps usefull pour RPG adventures. My only complain is that the "pictures resolution" is a little too low so I can't zoom when I print the maps. On the same way, some one inch maps would have been usefull too !

Detailed floorplans. I would not recommend using them for miniatures as one castle took over 100 pages when converted to 25mm scale. Admittedly, I did this via a script so the page usage may have been less than optimal, but that's still a lot of pages. The maps are very nicely put together and could be used for a handout or just as a guide for the GM.

Outstanding ? A must for every ?Keep? holding player & GM alike. Easily scalable, and simple to print. The detailed description of each structure space is a nice touch. This product needs a ?Vol 2? of the same title!!

I bought three sets of these floorplans and they have all added immensely to my ability to DM on the fly. Simply great. Very well organized and impeccably annotated. No longer do my players' questions of "how high is the ceiling?" throw me.
