This DCC is an excellent resource for ideas for between adventures. They're more than just 'regroup at the tavern and go see what the boss/Laird/Priest wants.'

For those longing the "good ole' days" of dungeon crawls, this is an excellent work.

LIKED: Very well laid out and the production quality of the maps and hand outs is very well done. I also like the content of the dungeons.

DISLIKED: Doesn't really cover the journey to and from the dungeons, but then that's the "old school" look and feel.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied

I have a group which games once a month, if we are lucky (older group, some of us have kids, others are workaholics, so 2x/mo. is not an option). Long single dungeons are a problem, bc we never get thru a large one in one sitting, and even with a good note-taker, 2/3 of the group forgets where they left off is we bridge sessions. This product allows for substantially shorter, but perfect for one long session type games. Typical old-school feel that all of this company's products possess!

LIKED: Bite size chunks for once a month gamers!

DISLIKED: This was pretty much a perfect product for what I paid and was looking for.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied

I really like the idea of having a set of adventures that are not linearly following in each other's footsteps but do continue a plotline. Unfortunately, this product does have it's difficulties.

LIKED: I've read the adventures, and played out one. They're well made, diverse, with player handouts and overall are just good adventures. The overarching plot is also pretty good, if a bit cliche, and can be easily tweaked.

DISLIKED: The adventurers have little (read: no) effect on the grand plot. Regardless of their success in the previous ploys, the BBEG does his thing without being really affected. The last few adventures are also linked too strongly to be truly considered seperated, while others are somewhat loosely connected to the main plot; the idea of "interludes" spread over between other adventures and linking together is good, but not carried out as well as it could be. For example, there are no recurring villains appearing in the first adventure and a later adventure, although there could easily have been.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied

6 loosely linked short adventures (with around 10 elements each) and 16 handouts to form the backbone of a campaign ranging from 1st to 13th level.
a one of a kind product and a damn good one at that.

LIKED: Short, easily placed adventures with plenty of room for my own stuff in between.

DISLIKED: Not being a fan of d20, i would have preferred a different system ;)

In other words, it's pretty much all good.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
