The book is great, I would give it four stars if it was not for the TERRIBLE scan this book has. I payed for this product to get some page scans misplaced, blurred and defective OCR. I hope they fix this with an update.

Mokolé is an interesting supplement for Werwolf, especially if you want to give your players the chance to play different changing breeds. The information given are detailed enough to play the mokolé as the only changers, too, although you need the werwolf core rules for the background rules for fights etc.

It was interesting to read, but the Dragon-breed are not my favorite. There were other titles of the changers that gave me more inspiration for my chronicle.

So I think Mokolé is 4 out of 5 stars.

I love this book! It gives all you need to make your own were-croc, were-dino, or were-dragon. But, I do have to admit mokole wouldn't work well in a mixed group of shifters without some effort on the ST's part. The reason? They are POWERFUL when they put their minds to it. Maybe in a group where the main focus is politics and they need to get physical threats out of the way fast. My favorite part was an 'easter egg' in the back, the first of the group of famous mokole. Though, you won't know what I'm talking about unless you've read the Quintaglio Ascension trilogy. Unfortunately, I was greatly disturbed by another (in)famous mokole. In White Wolf's attempt to create an antagonist worth hating (along with a jab at the all-hated Barney), they probably have driven off a few customers. But other than that, I greatly reccomend this book!
