Bad, lame, stupid, and dumb. Basically, this tries to make unarmed combat viable in a system with ranged weapons, and unsurprisingly it fails miserably. Why each culture/race/large group would evolve a unique version of unarmed combat without any technological or social imperative is ignored by the writers.

Worst of all, even if you decide to run Jackie Chan Meets Mutants, the mechanics themselves are incredibly clumsy.

Don't waste your money.

Based on the highly successful Blood and Fists supplement, this product absolutely meets the very high standards we come to expect from RPGObjects. It is, quite probably, my very favorite Darwin's World purchase other than the core rules themselves.

LIKED: This is the unarmed combat system you've always wanted. It is flexible, has TONS of flavor text, and adds a truly unique feature to any Darwin's World campaign.

DISLIKED: The downside is that you won't be doing anything but filling the prerequisites for the first 2-3 levels. If you start at level 6, this isn't an issue but if you start at a low level don't expect to be able to use the book much yet.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
From my perspective this product filled a hole in Darwin' World giving character classes that are not so weapon oriented.

LIKED: I liked the martial art designed around mutants with mulitple arms. That I felt really added to the "Darwin's World" feel.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Great Supplement. I was looking to run a post-apocalyptic kung-fu game, and this supplement saved me hours of legwork. Well worth the price.

When I bought this supplement I wasen't expecting much and dreading alot. I was overly suprised by the classes and the actual M.A inside. It is not some cheap movie spin off but well thought out Martial Arts (M.A.). I was hoping and will probably have to use the SpyCraft rules for "GunFu". I use DW1 and 2 for the basis of a RPG based on James Axlers "Deathlands" and all of the DW material fits nicely.

An outstanding book. The page count is a little lite but the material is great! I put this book to use immediatly.
