This long-awaited supplement for Testament gives you 24 pages of rich detail about the Hittite culture of the Bronze and Iron Ages. Thankfully, designer Scott Bennie and editor Spike Jones have treated not only the classic Bronze Age Hittite Empire, but also Neo-Hittite culture of the Iron Age, making the Hitties accessible not just for second-millennium settings but also for first-millennium campaigns. Scott and Spike have really done their homework with this one. I especially appreciated the way the supplement sorts through the myriad Hittite gods and makes judicious choices about which ones to include.
Even if your Testament campaign doesn't directly involve Hittites, this supplement is still highly recommended, as it includes a variety of new spells applicable not only to the Hittite culture but also the other cultures featured in Testament itself.
Note that this supplement can also be used to enrich campaigns that use The Trojan War by Green Ronin (also available as a PDF from RPGNow) as well as Testament. In fact, The Hittites provides a really useful bridge between a Trojan War setting and a Bronze Age Testament setting.
If you play Testament or The Trojan War, buy The Hittites today!

LIKED: Almost everything!

DISLIKED: Just a few typo/editing issues. In at least one place, a plural is formed by adding apostrophe + "s" (ugh). But my main complaint is that the page references apparently weren't updated, or there was a software glitch or something, because all page references came out as "page @@" in the PDF.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
