Mutants & Masterminds: Archetype Archive 3 another in the Green Ronin series of ten new superheroic archetypes. Archetypes (in the M&M sense) are packages of statistics, skills and powers to simulate various ?standard? types of characters from the superheroic / comic book genre.
Each of the Archetypes comes with a strong full color illustration that conveys the sense of the Archetype?s abilities and style (the Revenant piece, used on the cover, is especially striking). (Oddly, none of the illustrations are of heroines in this Archive. All are heroes.) Each character is fully prepared for use in a standard Power Level 10 / 150 Character Points campaigns. Note on how to use and adapt the character types to fill various roles and power conceptions are included.
Among the character types explored in this archive are: Archer, complete with trick arrows and suggestions on how to simulate trick shots with feats. Dark Avenger, ?who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?? The (afore mentioned) Revenant, back from the death for justice . . . or vengeance? Ring Bearer, gifted with an artefact to control energy beyond comprehension and protect the world (and beyond). And the Solid Hero, able to transform into something more durable than mere flesh.
Another useful reference for Mutants & Masterminds players and games masters. More solid archetype design to model player and non-player characters alike on for any campaign.
