Internet Arcana is a compendium of the entire SRD spells and magic items plus 30% OGC material (over 60 pages!) from e-publishers (Version 3.0 Only). Massively hyper-linked for user convenience, Internet Arcana contains over 4,500 links and anchors, bringing spells and items to your fingertips faster than ever before.

What makes Internet Arcana so useful?

1. Spell and magic item lists are hyper-linked to individual spell and item descriptions.

2. All spell descriptions list the magic items created with that particular spell, which is hyper-linked to the magic item description.

3. All non-SRD material is clearly indicated with red titles in both the lists and descriptions.

4. All non-SRD material is credited to the orginal source and the company that published it. These are also hyperlinked for customers interested in a particular supplement or company.

5. Besides extensive hyper-linking, Internet Arcana is fully bookmarked, indicating all non-SRD spells and magic items in red.

If you're interested in excellent new spells, 101 Spellbooks, Tomes of Knowledge, and Forbidden Grimoires should please you. It contains 59 pages of material anyone would enjoy.

You can never have too many spells. Internet Arcana culled the best of the of OGC spells and put them one easy to use book. The format is for 3.0, but it would not take much at all to convert these to 3.5 or Pathfinder or even "downgrade" the [...]

Nice compilation of spells and magic items, very well laid out and linked. Very useful for those DMs that like me, use the computer to prepare handouts of available spell and items to their players. The SRD material is complete as far as I could check, [...]

This is a worthwhile PDF to have, I was able to compile a nice list of new spells to add to my campaign as a result. I especially found the necromancy spells to be highly useful, as necromancers seem to get the small knob on the femur. corny wordpl [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
