Adventures in Middle-earth Wilderland Adventures

A failed robbery, the daring of two Hobbit brothers, a terrible crime, the flight of the Elves, the affairs of Wizards, black treachery, an ancient threat - seven stories await to be told in the Twilight of the Third Age. Seven adventures need a company of heroes to undertake them.

Wilderland Adventures contains seven ready-to-play adventures, complete scenarios that can be played separately, or as an epic campaign spanning across a number of years. All adventures are set in the years after 2946, and take place in Wilderland.

A wealth of background material expands the setting information contained in the core manuals for Adventures in Middle-earth, the newest fantasy roleplaying game based upon The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the world-renowned masterpieces written by J.R.R. Tolkien.

With new monsters, new journey tables for each adventure, new NPCs and battle maps, Wilderland Adventures is the perfect next step for your Adventures in Middle-earth

Will you dare enter the great forest of Mirkwood, journey under the shadow of the Misty Mountains, visit the house of Beorn, follow the River Anduin down to the Gladden Fields, or climb the Grey Mountains to look upon the Withered Heath?

Wilderland Adventures presents the seven adventures previously published for The One Ring Roleplaying Game as Tales from Wilderland, fully converted for Adventures in Middle-earth, the Middle-earth 5e OGL setting.

Does anybody know whether this will run ok with just the D&D 5e PHB, MM and DMG, or do you need the Cubicle7 Players and Loremasters Guides.

I would think you would need the Players Guide- it has all the rules for races/classes/money/etc. Unless you are converting regular 5E to a Middle earth theme on your own. I have the Players Guide and think its a top notch product.

Hi Jim, yes there will - we don't sell hardbacks through DrivethruRPG - it'll be available through gamestores as soon as it's printed.

Nice. For those curious have a look at the full size preview to see a synopsis of the quests and level guide. All seven are aimed at 4 characters of level 1 to 6+, so looks like a good entry level set of adventures for this world.

I love all of the new content, I really do, but how about sending out the physical copies of the first 2 books first? Been waiting on those for months now with no status updates.

To be fair, it has been a long time (6 months) since some of us ordered and paid for hardbound copies that haven't arrived and Cubicle 7 aren't very quick to respond to customer queries. Looking forward to the new PDF content though.

This will happen in waves, because there's a huge amount of orders to process. Please bear with us and thanks for your patience - your LMG will be with you very soon!"

All physical copies of the Adventures in Middle-earth Player's Guide were shipped out months ago. If you have not received yours as of yet, something went very wrong along the way. Please contact us at info @ cubicle7 . com and we'll sort it out.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
