ESCAPE FROM SKULLKEEP PRISON
An Adventure for 4-7 PCs between levels 1-3

A prison warden that has wrongfully imprisoned the sheriff’s rogue warlock brother,
has brought the wrath of the sheriff onto him. In a mad fit of rage, Sheriff Flavius McKlaive hires the notorious Half-Orc sorcerer Dokaebno, and all hells break loose. While the prison itself is being assailed by unnatural means, deep down, into the guts of the prison, a host of deranged and purely evil torturers, executioners and thrill killers are plying their trade. But don’t forget the pet monsters and unique magic items!

The details of the missions are simple, but the adventure itself is not. A tough group of 4-7 characters of level 1-3 must break into the prison and rescue Sheriff McKlaive’s brother Neville and find as many pieces of damning documents as possible to damn the wicked warden himself. How many of these detailed handouts can the party bring back for proof that a deranged lunatic is running an entire prison?

Better still, how many of the adventurers will even make it make to freedom and the chance to breathe clean and free air again?

WHO IS IT FOR? - GM’s running the Pathfinder system looking for a great introductory adventure to throw at unsuspecting PCs. It has easy moments and very challenging moments. It allows the players to find keys and up to 5 or 6 pieces of ephemera to bring back as proof of illegal activity. There are 13 PLAYER HANDOUTS specifically designed and created just for this adventure. And a host of wicked detailed villains and a small handful of helpful NPCs.

THIS ADVENTURE CAN BE PLAYED ENTIRELY ON ITS OWN
.

IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE PLAYED WITH ANOTHER ADVENTURE (but can be)
AND IS 100% SELF-CONTAINED.

It is also for an ongoing campaign. This is PART 1 of 7 in an adventure series that (potentially) takes the PCs from levels 1-14.

NOTES - While not pitch black in nature, this and all adventures involves certain adult material. No nudity of profanity but dark human nature situations and plenty of violence. So please review this BEFORE your children download it. It is still, by my standards, for teenagers and up, but I just need to be sure that YOU be sure.

Also, this adventure is NOT set up for D&D, But I have seen people adapt products like these anyways, so IF you like, please indulge.

Finally, if you have any problems whatsoever - please feel free to email me!

TL/DR: This is a nice size adventure with lots of nice full color artwork that should take a few sessions to go through clocking in around 90 pages, at a price that is very economical. PROS: Lots of memorable NPCs and creatures / [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
